Private Pilot Lesson 25 - Practicing Maneuvers
Short field takeoff, slow flight, engine failure, steep turns, power off stall, power on stall, S-turns, go around, switched pattern direction across runway, and finally a pretty good landing. Trying to improve my situational awareness and tower communications.

Wow haven’t seen 430 kph for recent videos 👍👍
Aye they really destroyed this monument!
Next video......how to fill your fuel tank with out removing the cap.
What's amazing brother?Keep up to good work.What's what's next?To he's gonna do to it
Is that an iPad on the Yoke?! Seems a bit much!
Which airport? Also it might be more interesting if you had a camera on the PFD.
As a 20000+ hour Captain , I feel the iPad is too big and can be a safety hinderance. The instructor should take note of this immediately.
?? Really
that looked like a struggle, nicely done, and the sound works perfect :D
Hi what month was this tour done?
After watching this video I don't mind the little cracks in my headlight lenses. Looks to tough for me. Can't do it at home.
I'd rather have a smaller tablet or maybe install it somewhere else.
Do you have a link for the headlights you bought?
😮😮😮 China 🎉🎉🎉teland 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for bringing me on the craft!
like always with flying, double check everything, i think its awesome. :D keep up the good work, and practice makes perfect.
Still using a phone for a checklist I see, that’s gonna bite you….. get a checkmate. Your examiner can and probably will fail your phone in flight and make you perform a checklist item. There’s not a single examiner in my area that won’t fail your iPad or phone, if you’re using it to perform essential functions, just to see what you do.
Yup most likely fail that phone in flight and Tadaaa no more checklist
I ran across your video on my lunch break, figured I’d throw my 2 cents at you. Looks like you’re doing well, I have some critique if you want it. 1st, you really need to ditch your phone and use a checkmate checklist. Just google checkmate checklist and buy one, it’s only a few bucks. You’re really killing your budget with your preflight activity. Remember you’re spending 250 an hour (I’m guessing), which is $4.16 per minute. You spent over 20 minutes on your preflight( probably more without the edits) which is $83.20 per lesson (probably more). You really need to chair fly or invest in Microsoft flight simulator to develop a smooth flow. The checkmate checklist will definitely help with this. You spent nearly 8 minutes having your CFI show you how to use the avionics…. Do you remember everything he showed you? Probably not, which means every lesson you’re paying your CFI $4.16 per minute to teach you something you can learn for free at home. Garmin has free downloadable training simulators for their avionics. It cost nothing but your time to learn how to use them. Again, Microsoft flight simulator has the exact plane you’re flying, equipped with the same equipment. You can practice procedures until you pass out and develop a nice smooth flow that’s accurate and reliable. I noticed several times that your CFI was performing tasks for you. Talk with your CFI about not doing that, it’s a very bad habit to get into, “hands off” instruction is always best unless you’re going to break you, him, the airplane or an FAR. After you watch your lessons back, which is an excellent idea, look at it from the perspective of how you can separate what material you can learn on your own against what the CFI is 100% necessary for. Nothing will increase the cost of flight training faster than performing ground school activities while paying flight school prices. The Hobbs meter is your enemy unless you’re in the air, flying, not learning avionics. You’re radio use seems a little weak, I recommend VATSIM, again, a totally free simulator that’s real people, mostly student and private pilots, learning to communicate properly on the radio. VATSIM works hand in hand with flight sim. Often you will find actual ATC controllers or ATC controller students online practicing. Lastly I noticed you didn’t include carb heat or throttle friction in your idle throttle check. If you have carb heat (you may not), it’s important to make sure that the engine won’t die at idle with carb heat on, this happens and it can lead to an accident. You’re doing great, good luck to you.
Turning 60 and hoping to follow on your steps...
Nice Nice Nice
what does it mean when somebody says information bravo? or other information XX what does that do for a pilot?
Bravo (B) is a letter used to identify current airport weather information that changes often. The letter changes, as does the weather.
I like these videos, would love some better sound but its awesome, good to see the entire journey, keep at it!
Me too I’m almost finished with instrument and this is awesome!! Wish I had done the same
Sensacional.
Can you tell me WHY you removed the stripes from the pre-mask? Its there to keep the stripes aligned when installing. It saves on the need for "eyeball engineering" as you put it.
Very nice.

I was a flight instructor until I moved on to the airlines earlier this year. Always enjoyed someone's first lesson. Got my multi engine rating at Glendale just up the road! Enjoy the ride, the sights and good luck!
goodjob man! keep working at it. This is making me wanna go get my PPL
Wow. No idea what he is doing
excellent work. In training for my PPL as well
good job!
Australian 25 years in Japan here. real estate here is not what it seems. Local customs and obligations exist for house owners ,especially outside the metropolitan areas. Fees, dues and other payments are requested on your doorstep, taxes can be steep,eg,residence tax, health insurance payments, local school sports days regardless of if you have a child, , condolence payments ,matsuri fees and more. These all vary from place to place but generally that's the deal, Failure to pay results on a bad rep and other repurcussions by the neighbors, Also things like compulsory shrine cleaning days, 8am on a Sunday, once or twice a year. DO it ,every time or things aren't good. Also mould can be an issue, and Japanese homes are built to last 30-40 years and be demolished. The land holds the value, the home is a depreciating asset from day 1.ALWAYS ensure the cement land markers are present before buying land.
Great footage 👍🏼 Have a nice trip 😊
Amazing teacher!
Definitely worth it. Makes the valley and state feel so much smaller lol. Flying around the valley at night airport hoping or going to Sedona or other places for lunch.
Welcome to the broke flying community!!
Congrats on your first lesson man, I am starting mine soon too. Good luck, and have fun!
you guys look like youre meant for each other ;).... Look out mile high club!!!
The trains are sooo cool!!
I love this so much. Hoping to start my own training soon and it's hard to find videos like this of beginners. Please keep posting, notifications are on :)
Work it! Breath - don't forget to look out he window and think of where you are - you're flying - then back to work!
SMILE
I LOVE seeing the sample on your FACE!!
Stressful pain for one view
Is this really the standard model? I got burned so hard when i talked about bubbles pushing on eachother on a science forum.
My theory, not standard.
Almost.
What if space is a 3d volume of an elastic substance and particles just be bubbles of energy vibrations within the substance? The particles would stretch space outward around them making space less dense within the particle but more dense outside. The density of space would affect the measurement of time and would cause gravitational attraction due to the lesser density of space substance between particles than around them, pushing them together and stretching space more with each attracted particle. Particles travel at a fixed velocity because the stretching of space in front of them balances the contraction of space behind them. Resistance to acceleration is because the density of space behind the particle must be increased to push it forward or decreased to decelerate. Quantum effects are just elastic resonance patterns within the substance of space. This causes particles to move to positions of natural resonance (atomic forces: such as strong, weak, and orbital electron shells). An electron releses a photon when the resonance shell changes energy levels. When it absorbs a photon, its additional energy pushes it to the next higher resonance shell. The shells are distinct because of the resonant frequency of the space that contains them. Electromagnetic waves are bent based on the density of space and travel at the wave propagation speed dictated by the density of space it is travelling through. The speed of light remains constant because time changes based on the local density of space - making it appear to be constant to all observers. The challenge would be to figure out what the resonance patterns are and come up with models to show how their interaction manifests as force as they snap into the density resonance patterns.
